James “Jimmy” Andrew Davidson

James “Jimmy” Andrew Davidson, age 73, of Cumming, Georgia passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018. Funeral service will be 2 PM Monday, August 27, 2018 at Hopewell United Methodist Church with Pastor Gene Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Methodist Church Cemetery with military honors. Mr. Davidson served in Vietnam as a Sargent in the United States Army, was of the Methodist Faith, and was employed with General Motors for 34 years. Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Ruby Davidson, sister Janette Davidson, brother Ernest Davidson, Jr., sister Joyce Kee, brother Ray Davidson, brother Dennis Davidson. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Betty Carruth Davidson, of Cumming, Georgia; son Michael Davidson, of Cumming, Georgia; brother Randall Davidson, of Cumming, Georgia; many nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 4 to 7 PM at McDonald and Son Funeral Home.
