Mary Lawson Littlejohn

Mary Lawson Littlejohn, age 83 of Cornelia, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018.

Born in Obion, Tennessee on May 24, 1935 to the late Edward Thomas Lawson and Lydia Onna Vaughn Lawson. Mrs. Littlejohn was a member of Cornelia Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with family especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Littlejohn; sons, Stephen Ray Littlejohn, Gary Lynn Littlejohn and Kenneth Littlejohn; grandchildren, Richard Bryan “Rick” Littlejohn and Stefanie Roberts; brother, Bulb Lawson; sisters, Ora, Dora, Ollie and Ivon.

Surviving are her daughters and son-in-law, Pam Littlejohn Roberts of Cornelia, Paula & Danny Tatum of the Batesville Community; daughter-in-law, Barbara Littlejohn of Demorest; grandchildren, Shawn Allen of Demorest, Wesley Littlejohn of Cornelia, Kevin Tatum of Batesville, Cory Roberts of Cornelia, Travis Tatum of Cornelia; great grandchildren, Jordan Littlejohn, Joni Littlejohn, Kelsie Littlejohn, Kylie Littlejohn, Macey Littlejohn, Malin Littlejohn; several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services are 2 pm on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Arthur Howard officiating.  Interment will follow in VFW Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the service hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
