James "Terry" Ragan

James "Terry" Ragan, 70, of Dawsonville, GA passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018 at Northside Hospital Forsyth, Cumming, GA.  He was a born to the late James "Red" and Ruth Ragan.  Terry resided in Dawsonville for the past 18 years and was a avid Nascar fan and was very involved with the Dawsonville Moonshine Festival.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. 

He is preceded in death by his brother in law, Doug Farmer.

He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Ragan of Dawsonville, GA; daughters and sons in law, Kelly and Donald "Duke" Porter of Dawsonville, GA, Kristy and Matthew Anderson of Dallas, GA, Wendy and Bryan Voiles of Tunnel Hill, GA; son and daughter in law, Jason and Lindsey Reed of Hixon, TN; grandchildren, Devin, T.J., Chathan, Maddox, Corbin, Danille, Hunter, Spencer, Morgan, Fletcher, Owen; great grandchild, Henley; sister, Linda Farmer of Blairsville, GA; nephew, Alan and Tonya Hawk of Blairsville, GA. 

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel, Dawsonville, GA with the Rev. Doug Couch and Joel Gibbs officiating.   Interment will follow the funeral at 3:00 p.m.  Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens, Mableton, GA.

The family will receive friends on Monday, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
