Mildred Lancaster Reed

Mildred Lancaster Reed, age 89, of Buford, GA passed away September 21, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-four years, W. J. “Dub” Reed. Mrs. Reed is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Merle and Reda Reed, Suwanee, GA; grandsons, Brian and wife, Chelsea Reed, and Jason Reed, Buford, GA; great granddaughters, Morgan Reed, Lauren Reed, and Kaitlyn Reed, Buford, GA; godchildren, Anthony Reed, Kathy Brookshire, and Pam Smith; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Reed was born on February 15, 1929 in Buford, GA. She was a retired cafeteria worker from North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee after fifteen years of service. Mrs. Reed was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Buford for a long time before she became a member of Buford Church of God.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Youngblood and Rev. Danny Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Baptist Church in Buford. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 23 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
