Molly Megan Jones

Molly Megan Jones passed away on September 24, 2018 ending her brave and enduring struggle with illness. A Gainesville, Georgia resident, she was born on September 17, 1985. She attended North Hall High School and The University of North Georgia. She worked at T.J. Maxx.

Molly was a sweet, kind and loving person who loved all types of dancing, music, nature, and walking her dog, Patrick, with her mom. Molly loved to give intentional gifts. Always desiring to give more than receive, one of her final acts before her death was to donate her hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths and Molly designated her body to be donated to science because she “wanted something good to come of all of her pain.”

Molly was preceded in death by her grandparents Martha and Haskel Stratton, Gene and Kat Jones.

She is survived by her parents Mike and Amy Stratton Jones of Brookton; uncles and aunts Mark and Dr. Patricia Stratton, Tom and Ellen McAllister, Robin and Chip Moody, Nita and Wayne Jones; cousins Jessica Truelove, Will Holley, David Stratton, A.V. and Dean Moody; and a number of other close friends and relatives.

A Celebration of Life Service for Molly will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel with visitation following.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Molly’s memory to the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia, 845 West Ridge Road, Gainesville, Georgia 30501.
