Larry Watkins

Larry “ Papa Jack”  Watkins, age 69, of Auburn, GA  passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018.  He was proceded in death by his wife of forty-four years, Vicki Jo Watkins.  He is survived by his children; John (Lisa) Watkins of Lawrenceville, GA, Wendy (James) Garner of Auburn, GA; grandchildren, Katie and Tommy Dowd, Brandon Register, Hanna Watkins, Emily Watkins, LeAnn Mitts and Taylor Coley; eight great grandchildren; sisters, Annette Holland of Dacula, GA and Betty Berry of  Dacula, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Betty Jean Watkins of Dacula, GA and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mr. Watkins was born October 20, 1948 in Dacula, GA. He was a 1967 graduate from Dacula High School.  He  retired as a welder  from  Thrall Car Company in Winder, GA after twenty-five years of service.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. at Midway United Methodist Church, 215 Kilcrease Road, Auburn, GA 30011 with Rev. Kaylen Short officiating.
