Stella Ann Smith

Mrs. Stella Ann Smith, age 70, of Clermont, Georgia passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504 with interment to follow in Wauka Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Tim Hicks will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday October 06, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith was born on May 8, 1948 in Hall County, Georgia to Jessie and Estella Myers.  She was employed by Gold City Nursing Home where she worked as a housekeeper and was a member of Wauka Mountain Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, and son, Tony Smith.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband James W. Smith of Clermont, Georgia, son Michael Smith of Murrayville, daughter, Sherry (Lynn Harrell) of Clermont, sister Jesse Mae Murphy of Clermont, brother Eugene Myers (Linda) of Clermont, brother James Myers of Cleveland, sister Marie Wheeler of Cleveland, sister Kathy Seymour of Clermont and eight grandchildren.
