Willie O. Bailey

Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Willie O . Bailey (74) of Gainesville, Ga will be held Sunday, October 14,2018, 3:00PM @ Mount Zion Baptist Church, 4000 Tanner Bridge Road   Flowery Branch, Ga. Rev. Dr. Emmerson Ross pastor/eulogist. In state 2:30PM.

Visitation at Young's Funeral Home Saturday, October 13, 2018 2:00-6:00PM. Family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00PM.
Family and friends will assemble at the church at 2:30PM.on Sunday for the service.

Mr. Willie O. Bailey was born January 2, 1944 to the late Austell and Curley Bailey in Shelby, North Carolina. He went home to be with the Lord at New Horizon Lanier on October 11, 2018.

Willie graduated from Green Bethel high school in Shelby, North Carolina. Upon graduating, he relocated to Gainesville, Georgia.

Willie was married to Mrs. Gloria Jean Bailey, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Mr. Charles Bailey and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Wilson and Mrs. Dorothy Addison.

Willie was employed by Adams Transfer and Storage in Gainesville for more than 30 years.  He was a faithful and dedicated member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, where he was active in Sunday school and Bible study. Willie could be called upon to happily assist with church functions whenever asked.

Willie leaves to cherish his memory: two sisters, Ms. Jo Ann Bailey and Mrs. Virginia Littlejohn (Oscar);  two brothers, Mr. John Bailey and Mr. Steve Bailey (Judy); children Toniesha Grooms, Zyi William, Jasmine Myrick and Ronisha Bailey; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
