John K. “Jack” Cotton

Mr. John K. “Jack” Cotton age 91 of Gainesville, Ga passed away on Thursday October 25, 2018 at Bell Minor Nursing Home following an extended illness.

Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday November 03, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at McEver Road UMC, 3606 McEver Road Gainesville, Ga 30566. Reverend Rob Bruce will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church after the Memorial Service.

Jack was born on October 30, 1926 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania to the late James Barton and Rose K. Cotton. He was a member of McEver Road United Methodist Church and was retired from Burroughs as an Engineer. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Paula J. Cotton, son, Timothy Cotton, and Jack Cotton, Jr.

            Mr. Cotton is survived by his wife, Livvy Cotton of Gainesville, son, Mark Patrick Cotton of Pennsylvania, son, Thomas Kevin Cotton of Ft Lauderdale, FL, daughter, Cheryl Long of Gainesville, daughter, Marlo Ball of Mt. Pleasant, SC, 4 grandchildren, Jessica Northey, Kyle Lenz, Lauren Lenz, Abagail Lenz, brother, James Barton of New Hampshire, and brother, Fred Cotton of Keystone Heights, FL.
