Betty Jo Ransom Brewer

Betty Jo Ransom Brewer, 85, of Lula passed away Friday, November 2, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 5, 2018 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Levi Nix and Rev. Jimmy Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Born on June 28, 1933 in Gainesville, GA Mrs. Brewer was the daughter of the late Jim and Inez Ransom. She was retired from Barry Manufacturing where she was an inspector. Mrs. Brewer was a member of Temple Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brewer is preceded in death by her husband, H.W. “Buddy” Brewer; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Mrs. Brewer is survived by her daughter, Tammy Bailey of Lula; son and daughter in law, Mike and Joy Brewer of Lula; son and daughter in law, Bradley and Gail Brewer of Lula; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Helen Gillespie of Gainesville, Becky Roberts of Jefferson; special nephew, Gene Ransom of Gillsville; special niece, Gail Forrester of Homer and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
