Sarah Williamson

Mrs. Sarah Williamson, age 78, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Williamson was born on January 7, 1940 to the late L.G. and Slonie Willis Wilbanks.  She was a poultry worker at Walt-Koch Foods.

Survivors include daughters, Martha Dyer, Susan Wade (James), Ellie Williamson all of Gainesville, GA and Teresa Charles of Clarksville, GA; brothers, James Wilbanks and Walter Wilbanks both of Oakwood, GA; sisters, Nell Garmon of Gainesville, GA and Frieda Thomas of Flowery Branch, GA; 12 Grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and numerous other relatives also survive.

 Mrs. Williamson is preceded in death by her husband, Junior Williamson, both parents, and son Marcus Williamson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 6, 2018 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home Gainesville, GA.  Rev. Kenny Dacus and Rev. Erin Hulsey will officiate.  Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Monday, November 5, 2018 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m.
