F. Robert "Bob" Zimmer, Jr.

Mr. F. Robert “Bob” Zimmer, Jr., age 69, of Flowery Branch passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 12, 2018 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 12, 2018 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Zimmer was born September 25, 1949 to the late Frank R. Zimmer and Helen Lutz Robards in West Palm Beach, Florida.  He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from AT&T, where he worked for over 30 years as a Senior Technical Associate.

Mr. Zimmer is survived by his sons & daughters-in-law, Christian & Mallory Zimmer of Flowery Branch and Allen J & Crystal Zimmer of Duluth; and 8 grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Shad Zimmer; son, James Lucas Zimmer; and parents.
