Lannie McCrary Fountain

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Lannie McCrary Fountain, age 84, of Waycross, Georgia who passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 in Jefferson, Georgia.

Mrs. Fountain was born March 12, 1934 in Doerun, Georgia to the late Thomas James and Viola Marshall McCrary.  Mrs. Fountain was a retired School Teacher with 35 years of service in the Pierce County School system.  Mrs. Fountain was a member of the Greater Mt. Zion AME Church in Waycross, Georgia.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Fountain is preceded in death by sister, Geneva McCrary Blackshear, brothers, Lawrence and Thomas James McCrary, Jr.

Survivors include husband, Johnny C. Fountain, Sr., Waycross, Georgia;   daughter, Cynthia Y. Fountain, Waycross, Georgia, son, Johnny C. Fountain, Jr., Taipei, Taiwan, daughter, Elmira D. Fountain and husband Michael Noel, Jefferson, Georgia; two grandchildren also survive.

A funeral service for Mrs. Fountain will be held in Waycross, Georgia.
