Edna Ruth Brown Jones

Edna Ruth Brown Jones, age 78, of Cornelia, Georgia went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 17, 2018.

Mrs. Jones was born on July 10, 1940 in Clarkesville, Georgia to the late Dewey and Hazel Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Justin Warren. Mrs. Jones was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. She was retired from Warren Featherbone with many years of loyal and dedicated service.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Paul A. Jones, Jr., Cornelia; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammie and Harley Warren, Cumming; Wanda and Cary Clark; Alto; son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Becky Jones, Alto; sister, LaVema Brown, Alto; Frances Jones, Alto; Eunice Clark, Alto; Mildred Jones, Lawrenceville; Janice Simpson, Alto; Joan Lynn, Baldwin; Jackie McConnell, Alto; brothers, Milton Brown, Alto; Harold Brown, Alto; Larry Brown, Lula; grandchildren, Ryan Jones, Eric Jones, Kyle Clark, Kayla Wilson; great-grandchildren, Mason Warren, Lily Warren, Abbie Jones, Macie Jones, Caden Jones, Natalie Jones, Emma Jones, Matthew Jones, Zeke Wilson, and Lyanna Wilson.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Crossroads Baptist Church with Rev. Lamar Kastner officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel.
