Hazel Geneva Ward

Mrs. Hazel Geneva Ward age 80 of Gainesville passed away on Tuesday November 20, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday November 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Levi Nix will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday November 23, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Hazel was born on March 08, 1938 in Gainesville, Ga to the late William Ingram and Virginia Bessie Glass Ingram. She was retired from Atlas Cold Storage where she worked as a bookkeeper. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ben Ward, brothers, Herbert Ingram, Bobby Ingram, Ferrell Ingram and Kenneth Ingram, sisters, Doris Purdy and Juanita Peace.

Mrs. Ward is survived by her children, Donna Henderson, Denise Nix (Jimmy), Darlene Garrison, grandchildren, Misty Mize, Heath Henderson, Jessica Satterfield (Caleb), Levi Nix (Ashley), great-grandchildren, Austin Mize, Nathan Henderson, Chevy Henderson, Madison Nix, Silas Nix, Samuel Nix, Solomon Nix, Sarah Joy Nix, Carter Satterfield, Kennedy Satterfield, brothers, Billy Ingram, Douglas Ingram, and a number of nieces and nephews.
