Lois Mozelle Chestnut

Lois Mozelle Chestnut, age 91 of Maysville, GA passed away Thursday, December 6th at Northridge Medical Center in Commerce. 

Ms. Chestnut was born October 21st, 1927 in East Point, GA. She was an Administrative Assistant with the United States Federal Government, and a member of Madison Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Chestnut, as well as a daughter, Alice Chastain. 

Survivors include sons, Michael Chestnut of Athens, GA, and Patrick Chestnut of Maysville, GA; grandchildren, Roxanne, Heather, Rebecca, and Zackary; and great-grandchildren, Devon, Skyler, Christian, and Kendra. 

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 9th at 2:00PM in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 12:00 Noon-2:00PM.
