Douglas L. “Doug” Sanders, age 68, of Dacula, GA passed away December 18, 2018.  He was preceded in death by his parents, William  Dean and Montine Sanders; brother, Leonard Sanders. He is survived by his wife of twenty-five years, Deborah Everett Gray Sanders, Dacula, GA; daughters, Sherry Sanders Williams, Lula, GA, Stephanie Cody, Dacula, GA, Faith Cody, Dacula, GA; sons, Trenton (Cindy) Sanders, Lulu, GA, Shane Cody, Dacula, GA;  grandchild, Braden Cody; sisters, Betty (William) Burnett, Gainesville, GA, Bonnie (Wayne) Carroll, Gillsville, GA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bernice and Evelyn Everett; sisters-in-law, Dolores (Roger) Craven, Buford, GA, Donna (Glenn) Abernathy, Hoschton, GA. Danita (Joey) Ashworth, Buford, GA; Brothers-in-law, David Everett, Hoschton, GA, Darrell (Lori) Everett, Dacula, GA, Derick (Wanda) Everett, Monroe, GA. Mr. Sanders was born on March 10, 1949 in Gainesville, GA. 1967 graduate of East Hall High School. He was retired from AT&T after twenty-three years. He also worked for Duluth Metals in Buford, GA, a member of Eastview Baptist Church, Gainesville, GA.  A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2018 at  Duncan Creek Congregation Church, Buford, GA with the Rev. James Dee Dillin officiating. .
