Christine Moore Norris Taylor

Mrs. Christine Moore Norris Taylor age 87 of Toccoa passed away Wednesday December 19, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A daughter of the late Charlie and Gladys Lowery Moore, she was born March 13, 1931 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all of her life. She retired from Coats & Clark and a member of Hill Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband Sam Norris in 1983.

Survivors include her husband of the home Ted Taylor, daughters and sons-in-law Shirley Churchwell of Cornelia, Judy and Tom Palmer of Dahlonega, Georgia and Bonnie and Ed Overcash of Blue Ridge, Georgia, grandchildren Craig Beatty, Kristin Palmer and Meredith and Justin Brown, great grandchildren Jase Brown, Dylan Beatty and Railyn Beatty.

Funeral services will be Saturday December 22, 2018 at 11 A.M. at the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating. The family will be at the home and will receive friends on Saturday from 9:30 til service time.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Greg Pitts, Mack Poss, Brent Stovall, Dylan Beatty, Ed Overcash and Tom Palmer.

Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens
