Delores 'Dodie' Bowen

Delores “Dodie” Bowen, 74, of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2018 at The Refuge Worship Center with Rev. Hugh Hubbard, Rev. Helen Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Born on June 14, 1944 in Atlanta, GA she was the daughter of the late Raleigh and Noami Bowen. She was retired from Fieldale where she worked in the Supply room. She was a member of The Refuge Worship Center. Mrs. Bowen had a “big circle of friends”.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bowen is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Bowen is survived by her special friend, Willie Cain of Gainesville.
