Joe Edward Parker

Mr. Joe Edward Parker age 77 of Cleveland, Ga passed away on Tuesday January 08, 2019 at his residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday January 12, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Scott Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday January 12, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Joe was born on February 10, 1941 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Charlie Parker and Leona Parker. He was a retired truck driver and is preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters, Johnny Parker, Lucille Barrett, Dorothy Oswalt, Homer Parker, Jake Parker, Betty Bryan, and David Corne.

Mr. Parker is survived by his daughters, Teresa Gooch of Cleveland, Tammy Anderson of Cleveland, Alissia Winters of Lula, and Sherrie Davis of Cornelia, son and daughter-in-law, Tim Parker (Jodie) of Lula, son and daughter-in-law, Derrick Parker (Natasha) of Cleveland, 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, sisters, Mary Lou Ward of Gainesville, Carolyn Gravitt of Gainesville, Ann Burgess of Lula, Charlene Wilmont of Winterville, Ga, brother, John Jones of McDonough, Ga, sisters, Mary Kid of Gainesville, Elizabeth Barrett of Lula, Wanda Barnes of Cleveland.
