Samuel Eugene Brown

Mr. Samuel Eugene Brown, 84, of Gainesville passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 at The Oaks of Limestone following a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Griffin, Rev. Wayne Hicks, and Rev. Bryan Smith will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 5pm-7pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Brown was born May 21, 1934 in Connersville, Indiana to the late Victor and Edna Brown. Mr. Brown was a retired car salesman and a member of New Haven Congregational Holiness Church. Samuel was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Micki Mohr.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife of 62 years, Faye Brown of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law, Tami Ford (Charles) of Oxford OH, daughter, Theresa Lynn Moses of Bonaire, GA, daughter and son-in-law, Tena Krousel (Michael) of Richmond, VA, sister, Joy Joseph of Sarasota, FL, sister, Gloria Carlson of Kalamazoo, MI, grandchildren, Duncan Ford, Evan Ford, Alexander Krouse, and Olivia Krouse and 1 great-grandchild, Silas Ford.
