Ruth L. Cowart

Ruth L. Cowart, 90, of Cumming passed away Friday, January 18, 2019. Ruth was a member of County Line Baptist Church of Alpharetta and is preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Elmer Cowart, Sr.

Survivors include her sons, Sammy (Lynn) Cowart, Dewey Elmer Cowart, Jr., Eddie (Lisa) Long, Jr.; sisters, Willie Bell Moore, Stella Faye Herrington, Mary Jordan; brother, Morris E. Long, Sr.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 21, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Truitt officiating.  Interment will follow at Peachtree Memorial Park in Norcross.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
