Joel Hillard Davis

Joel Hillard Davis, age 54, of Cumming, GA, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019. Joel was born in 1964, to the late Roger Davis and the now Evelyn Marie Pierce. He was saved at Hopewell Baptist Church in Milton, GA. Joel worked at Roswell Jeep Eagle, Bob Davis Pontiac, and Peach Auto Painting in Smyrna, GA.  He loved racing, hunting and was known to be an outdoorsman. He was a loving husband, son, brother, step-father and friend. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Amon and Bonnie Davis; and brother, Perry Davis.

Joel leaves behind his wife, Victoria Davis; mother, Evelyn Pierce; brother and sister-in-law, Lesley and Barbara Pierce; step-children, Kelli Wohlgemuth and Kristopher Jakes; step-sister, Debbie Martin; nephews, Matthew Joseph and William “Chuck” Pierce; along with many other loving relatives and friends. 

Funeral services for Joel will be held Sunday, January 27, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church in Milton, GA, with Rev. Bud Sutton and Rev. Alan Sutton officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
