Dorothy Owens Skinner

Dorothy Owens Skinner, age 81, of Winder, GA passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2019. 

She is survived by her children, Terrie and Scott Peppers, Winder, GA; grandchildren; great grandchildren; sister, Dara McCabe, Braselton, GA; and brother, Donald Gene Owens, Cumming, GA.

Ms. Skinner was born February 1, 1938 in Albertville, AL. She had worked for A & P Stores and Coke Cola Company for many years. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Benny Parker and Ricky Parker officiating. Interment will follow at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
