Joyce Blackwell Bohannon

Mrs. Joyce Blackwell Bohannon age 69 of Toccoa passed away Thursday February 28, 2019 at her residence.

A daughter of the late Edgar and Essie Mae Sisk Blackwell, she was born September 13, 1949 in Franklin County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Toccoa. She was a retired LPN with Mountain View Health of Clayton and of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by a sister Jean Payne and a son Micheal Bohannon.

Survivors include her husband Dwayne Bohannon of the home, two daughters and sons-in-law Kelly and William Whitlock and Reece and Johnny Holbrooks, son and daughter-in-law Jeffery and Cindy Bohannon, brother Jimmy Blackwell, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild all of Toccoa.

Funeral services will be Friday March 1, 2019 at 2 P.M. at the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home. The family will be at the home and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday from noon until service time.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Jimmy Blackwell, Phillip Love, Wayne Arrowood, William Whitlock, Johnny Holbrooks and Matthew Whitlock.

Interment will follow in Toccoa City Cemetery
