Viola LaMorte

Mrs. Viola LaMorte, age 88, of Braselton passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Arbor Terrace Assisted Living at Hamilton Mill.

A Private Family Memorial Service will be held.

Mrs. LaMorte was born December 25, 1930 to the late Sumner & Estelle Pond in Auburn, Massachusetts.  She was retired from the United States State Department, where she had been a Secretary.

Mrs. LaMorte is survived by her sons, Michael (Lori) LaMorte of Braselton, John S. LaMorte of Urbana, Maryland and Matthew C. (Kathy) LaMorte of Nashville, Tennessee; 6 grandchildren; and 2 nieces.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Ronald LaMorte; parents; and brother, David Pond.
