Bonnie Tolbert Evans

Bonnie Tolbert Evans, age 88, of Commerce died, Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at her residence.  

Mrs. Evans was born in Commerce to the late, William T. and Allie Hawks Tolbert.  Mrs. Evans was a member of Berea Baptist Church and retired from the University of Georgia where she was a secretary.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Evans was also preceded in death by her husband, JB Evans and son, Tony Evans.

Mrs. Evans is survived by her son, Ted Evans (Mary) of Commerce; grandchildren, Emily Brown (Tracey) and David Evans (Tabitha); great grandchildren, Parker and Carter Evans.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, March 10^th at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. David Sharpton officiating with the interment following at Grey Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1-3 PM.
