Lucille Burruss Phillips

Lucille Burruss Phillips, age 83, of Cumming, GA., passed away Friday, March 8, 2019 at her home. She was a member of Coal Mountain Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob R. and Ruth Wallace Burruss; brothers and sisters, Robert Reeves and Vertie Lee Orr Burruss, Charles Edward and Gwynell Day Burruss, Maggie Burrus and Wilson Wilbanks, James Leland Burruss, Clifton Chamblee Strickland, Rebecca Johnson Burruss, Thomas Roscoe and Annie Nix Phillips, Jessie Edward Phillips, Freddie Ralph and Helen Arnold Phillips and Doris Nunn Phillips.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Buddy Phillips;  sons and daughter-in-law, Ashley D. Phillips, Tracey W. and Lisa Phillips; daughter, Paula Phillips Duncan; grand kids, Caleb Kyle and Jenny Lynn Phillips, Madison Phillips and Chris Waters, Jessi Paige Phillips, Jacob “Jake” Reece Phillips, Ethan Thomas Phillips, Jackson Levi Phillips; great grand kids, Buddy Augustus Phillips, Clara Faith Phillips, Logan Christopher Waters; brothers and sisters, Edna Morris Burruss, Dorothy Neal Burruss, Betty Burrus Strickland, Ineal Burruss and Ray Burton, Kathleen Burruss and Harold Pruitt, Rodger Billy Burruss, Larry and Mary Martin Burruss, Inez Tench Phillips; and a number of other nieces, nephews and relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 10^th at 2:00 pm at Coal Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Martin, Rev. Danny Bennett and Rev. Ruel Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Saturday from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Sunday from 10:00 am until the hour of the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations be made to any Church for Vacation Bible School.
