Emily Denise Craig

Cleveland Funeral Home announces that Emily Denise Craig, 37 of Cleveland, Georgia passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019.

She was born on October 26, 1981 in a West Berlin, Germany military base to father, Dennis Watts and Mother Helen Haecker. Emily and her husband Jeremy had been living in Cleveland For the last 4 year, moving here from Gainesville.   

Emily was a very special person to all of us. Her selflessness and love will always be remembered. Emily was an ancient history expert, music lover, and exceptionally talented artisan who enjoyed recreating history in 1/12th scale miniature. She was the love of Jeremy's life and devoted mother to her children.   

Emily is preceded in death by an infant brother, William Charles Watts. She is survived by her Husband, Jeremy Craig of Cleveland; Daughters Eryn O'Sullivan and Aila Craig of Cleveland; Father and step mother, Dennis and Betty Watts of Athens, Ga; Mother and step father Helen and Lloyd Loeb of Tucker, Ga; Brother Brian Watts of Stone Mountain, Ga; Sister Martha Watts of Reykjavik, Iceland; and Life-long best friend, Lindsey Cook. 


A private service for Emily will be held and Interment will follow. In Lieu of flowers, the family ask that donation be made in memory of Emily to  "Leslie's Week", a nonprofit that provides vacations away from cancer for Stage 4  Breast Cancer women and their families.
