David Lee Young

Mr. David Lee Young age 54 of Gillsville passed away on Sunday March 10, 2019 at Methodist Medical Center in Oakridge, Tennessee.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday March 22, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Gary Osteen will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday March 21, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

David was born on March 12, 1964 in Cumming, Georgia to the late James Young and Anna Bell Chumbler Young. He was a truck driver with JRM Trucking and was of the Baptist Faith. David is preceded in death by his parents, and his son, Wesley Young.   

Mr. Young is survived by his ex-wife, Sheila Young of Gillsville, son, Michael Young of Gainesville, son, James Young of Gillsville, half-sister, Barbara Young of Gainesville, half-sister, Rosalie Chumbler of Dawsonville, and half-brother, Dennis Young of Gainesville.
