Beaver Devault

Mr. Beaver Devault, age 75, of Bodie Rayle Road in Elberton, Georgia and formerly of Toccoa passed away Monday, March 25, 2019 at Athens Regional Hospital.

A son of the late Daniel and Florence Morgan Devault, he was born May 17, 1943 in Standish, Michigan having lived in several states over the years. He moved to Georgia in 2005 where he lived in Toccoa for a few years and later moved to Elberton, Ga. Mr. Devault was a carpenter having worked for many different construction companies and general contractors. Also, he loved to go fishing in his spare time. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Chad Eugene Devault and by a sister, Roxanne Devault Ward.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Ann Houck Devault of the home, a son, Joshua Devault of Ashley, Michigan, grandchildren, Ashlie Devault, Jordan Devault, Kiah Devault Schwab, Seth and Jordin Devault, and Jason Devault, a great grandchild, Mason Devault, and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Mr. Beaver Devault will be held Friday, March 29, 2019, 2:00 P.M., at the Hillcrest Chapel of The Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Tom Heard officiating.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at The Acree-Davis Funeral Home Monday from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour.
