Thomas “T J” Jones

Thomas “T J” Jones, age 63, of Sugar Hill, GA, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019.  He was preceded in death by his father, Erwin Jones; and brother, Jarred Jones.  Mr. Jones is survived by his wife of nineteen years, Rebecca Jones, Sugar Hill; children, Elizabeth and Douglas Corvey, Maysville, GA and Thomas M and Jodi Jones, Suwanee, GA, Jennifer and Wayne Brown, Hayden, AL, Jason and Angie Russell, Cullman, AL, David and Christie Russell, Lawrenceville, GA; sixteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; mother, Helen Jones, Rochester, NY; brother, Owen T. Jones, Rochester, NY; sister, Rosellen Burgdorf, Rochester, NY; and several nieces and nephews.  Mr. Jones was born January 27, 1956 in Elmira, NY.  He was a graduate of Horsehead High School, Horseheads, NY and a graduate of Corning University with an associate’s degree.  Mr. Jones was employed with Cypress Truck Lines in Smyrna, GA, Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Lamar Holley officiating.
