Frances Cox Price

Frances Cox Price, age 90. of Clarkesville, Georgia passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019 following an extended illness. 

Mrs. Price was born on August 21, 1928 in Rockingham County, North Carolina to the late John and Bessie Robertson Cox. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Henry L. Price; sisters, Ruth Carter; Mary Elizabeth Clark; Evelyn Clark; Marie Cox; brother, William Cox; and daughter-in-law, Jackie Ayers Price. Frances was a member of Hollywood Baptist Church for many years, later joining Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Demorest. She was a homemaker. Frances was a loving, caring, and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. 

Survivors include her daughters, Mary Frances Walters, of Toccoa; Sandra Vinson and John, of Buford; son, Ronald Lee Price, of Toccoa; sister, Josephine Gunter, of Demorest; brother, Frank HIll, of Madison, NC; six grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren. 

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 22, 2019 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Pastor Andy Childs officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. 

The family will accept friends from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., prior to the service. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
