JoAnne H Warren of Alpharetta, formerly Decatur passed peacefully on April 25, 2019 at age 90, with her son and daughter at her side. JoAnne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an enthusiastic bridge player and played with many groups until a few months ago. She was one of the founding members of First Redeemer Church in Cumming, where she worshipped and volunteered tirelessly until December of last year when she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. She was loved dearly for her smile and kindness by neighbors, church friends and family. JoAnne is survived by her husband of 70 years, Comer C Warren, her daughter, Pamela VanTonder, her son Clark Warren and his wife Teresa, 9 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her large and loving family that she presided over with all her love and wisdom.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 26, 2019 from 6 to 8PM and Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 10 to 11AM with an 11AM Funeral Service in the Chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home.
