Mary Nell Cheek Fowler

Mrs. Mary Nell Cheek Fowler, age 74, of Audubon Place in Toccoa, Georgia passed away Friday, April 26, 2019 at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia.

A daughter of the late Lloyd Cheek and Ann Standridge Cheek, she was born June 7, 1944 in Stephens County, Georgia where she has lived all of her life. She was retired from Penline Garment Company. Mrs. Fowler attended Rock Quarry Holiness Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Lee Fowler, and by two brothers, Tommy Cheek and William Cheek.

She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Rita Fowler of Toccoa and Donna and Jerry Dickson of Toccoa, a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Shannon Fowler of Martin, Ga., ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, two brothers, Greg Cheek and Danny Cheek both of Toccoa, and by a sister, Diane Cheek of Braselton, Ga.

The Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2019, 2:00 p.m., at the Hillcrest Chapel of The Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Edward Hood and Mr. Gary Simpson officiating.

The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as pallbearers, Brandon Fowler, Craig Cheek, Seth Fowler, Jake Dickson, Justin Minchew, and Justin Simpson. Pallbearers, please assemble at the funeral home by 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday evening and on Tuesday, noon until the service time. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will be in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with The Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Mary Nell Cheek Fowler.
