Jo Elizabeth Adams

Jo Elizabeth Adams, age 86, of Buford, Georgia, went to be with the Lord Monday, April 29, 2019 following complications from a stroke on April 8, 2019.

Mrs. Adams was born April 7, 1933 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Harold and Helen Eichhorn.  She was proceeded in death by her brothers Don, Jim (Pic) Eichhorn and Nephew Terry

Jo was a loving, caring, wife, mother, home-maker, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.  She is survived by her Husband  64 years William F. Adams Sr., her sons William F. Adams Jr. (Cheryl),  James M. Adams (Kim); grandchildren Scott Adams, Jeremy Adams, Michael Adams (Katrina), Tifanie Haun (Michael), Nick Schmalenberger (Eldina); great-grandchildren Tyler, Canyon, Kyleigh, Rylan, Olivia and Gabriel; foster great-grandchildren Calvin and Kaylee; Nieces Donita, Connie, Brenda, Jamie and Kathy;  life-long friends; Ms. Gammon, Ms. Rahm, Ms. McDowell and Ms. Toney and a multitude of friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2019 form 6-9 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel 3481 Hamilton Mill Road, Buford, GA  30519. Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 11 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Danny Newbern will officiate. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens.
