William Jack Matthews, 39, of Gainesville passed away May 18, 2019.

Born on July 27, 1979 in Elyria, Ohio, he was the son of Dwayne Edward Matthews and Mabel Christine Conrad. Mr. Matthews was a Tattoo artist at Magick Dragon.

Mr. Matthews is survived by his wife, Summer Matthews of Gainesville; daughters, Jaydlyn Frank, Jahslyn Smith, Jacklyn Matthews. Son, Ayden Smith; father and step-mother, Dwayne and Malinda Matthews of Oakwood; mother, Christine Conrad of Gainesville; brothers, Johnny Matthews and Steven Matthews both of Gainesville; sister, Barbara Matthews of Gainesville and a number of other relatives.
