Carroll Ivester

Mr. Carroll Ivester, age 63 of Long Circle, Toccoa passed away Monday, May 20, 2019 at his residence.

A son of the late Namon and Bertie Mae Thurmond Ivester, he was born September 1, 1955 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life. He was employed with the City of Demorest for a number of years and was a member of Old Toccoa Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Troy Ivester and by a sister, Linda Gail Savage.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Diane Rider Ivester; daughter and son-in-law, Vanessa and Shane Pierce of Toccoa; grandson, Nathan Finney; brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Lois Ivester of Toccoa; mother-in-law, Jewell Powell of Toccoa; a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
