Ruth Parker Oliver

Mrs. Ruth Parker Oliver, age 73, of Cleveland, passed away Monday May 27, 2019. 

Mrs. Oliver was born in Hall County to the late Frank and Delzia Hulsey Parker.  She was preceded in death by parents, and husband, Delbert Oliver.  Mrs. Oliver was a homemaker and a member of Skitts Mountain Baptist Church.  She loved talking on the phone to her best friend, Lib Bryson and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Parker and Judy Oliver.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Bradley Bates, Cleveland; granddaughters, Ashley Bates and Stacey Bates; and sisters-in-law, Doris Oliver, Dorothy Parker, and Judy Oliver.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 am Thursday, May 30, 2019 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Kyle Savage and Rev. Mike Irvin will officiate. Interment will follow in Skitts Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the funeral home.
