Robert Douglas "Peanut" Haynes

Robert Douglas “Peanut” Haynes age 73 of Gainesville passed away Friday June 28, 2019 at his residence.

“Peanut” was born November 9, 1945 in Gainesville to the late Floyd & Geneva Loggins Haynes. He was a heavy equipment operator with Candler Concrete & Williams Brothers. He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his brother, William Haynes.

Survivors include wife, Rebecca Haynes of Gainesville, daughter & son in law, Tina & Kelly Lord of Gainesville, brother, Kenneth Haynes of Gainesville, grandchildren, Wayne Thomas Lord & Kevin Dean Lord both of Gainesville.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Franklin Grant officiating. Burial will follow in the Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home.
