Walter Theo Johnson

Walter Theo Johnson age 83 of Flowery Branch passed away Wednesday July 10, 2019 at the Oaks at Limestone.

Mr. Johnson was born September 14, 1935 in Gainesville to the late Chalcie Jones Johnson& Claude Johnson. Mr. Johnson was self employed with Johnson Sausage Company and he also was the owner of Biscuit Delight. He enjoyed singing and had sang in several Quartets as well as the choir at West Hall Baptist Church where he was a faithful member. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his brother, Homer Johnson & sister Vera Pinson.

Survivors include, wife, Linda Johnson of Flowery Branch, son & daughter in law, Gary& Barbara Johnson of Oakwood, daughter & son in law, Karen & Jeff Bright of Dahlonega, daughter, Gail Johnson of Dahlonega, daughter & son in law, Glenda & Joe Tirado of Gainesville, son & daughter in law, Deewayne & Dawn Lackey of Lula, sister & brother in law, Carolyn & Jerry Abercrombie of Murrayville, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, a number of nieces & nephews also survive.  

Funeral services will be held 3:30 P.m. Saturday at the West Hall Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Abercrombie & Dr. Mike Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park South Cemetery. Mr. Johnson will be placed in the church at 3P.M. until service time. The family will receive friends form 2-4 & 6-8 Friday at the funeral home.
