Bea Harris Martin

Mrs. Bea Harris Martin, age 92, of Commerce died Monday, July 15, 2019 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.  Mrs. Martin was born in Decatur, GA to the late, Henry Anson and Lore Cook Harris.  Mrs. Martin was retired from FW Woolworth’s and Wal-Mart and she was also a member of Hudson River Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Martin was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Lex Martin, Jr.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her daughter, Janet Pierce of Commerce; son, Dave Martin of Lawrenceville; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren; and nephew, Tim Harris.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 18^th at 1:00 PM from Hudson River Baptist Church with Rev. Butch Moore officiating with the interment following in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church Thursday from 12-1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hudson River Baptist Church.
