Alfonso Irias Vans

Mr. Alfonso Irias Vans, age 93, of Brookhaven passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Seasons Hospice in Cumming, surrounded by his family.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m., Sunday, July 28, 2019 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Elroy Christopher will officiate.  The family will receive friends 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Vans was born November 29, 1925 in Nicaragua.  He was a retired from the Kennedy Airport, where he worked for Ogden Security.  Mr. Vans is survived by his 8 children.  He was preceded in death by his wife Hilda Irias.
