Mrs. Mary J McIntosh Dubose Lewis departed this physical life on 07/25/2019. She is preceded in death by her husband Mr. Nathaniel Pete Lewis. Her Mother and Father Willie and Odessa McIntosh. Brothers-Cofer McIntosh, Jake McIntosh, and Harry McIntosh. Sisters-Rita Hurst, Roena Booker and her mother-n-law Ms. Addie Lewis. Mrs. Mary Lewis was a member of Greater Timber Ridge Baptist Church for many years, she was a very active member and sang in the choir. Mrs. Lewis loved everyone she came in contact with and she was loved by so many. Her memories will forever be cherished by her children: Rosa (Leroy) Tillman, Donald (Wilma)Dubose, Carrie Dubose (Claude Damons), Vera (Bradley) Mize, James Dubose, Torry (Lynn) Dubose, Joe Lewis, Antonio Peoples, Jaquez Peoples; Siblings: Ms. Sue Samuel (Tennessee), Ms. Carrie Middlebrook(Tennessee) Mr. Linwood McIntosh (Florida), Mr. Otis McIntosh (Elberton GA); thirteen grandchildren, thirty four great grandchildren, two great great grand kids, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Greater Timber Ridge Baptist Church at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 at Wimberly Funeral Home between the hours of 12:00 noon - 8:00 PM. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
