Dan W. Greene, age 68, of Carnesville, GA, formerly of Buford, GA, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Bernice Greene and brother, Julian Greene. He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Lora Pruitt Greene, Carnesville, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Joshua McQuillen, Euharlee, GA; grandchildren, Balley Greene, Jameson McQuillen; sister, Mary Ann Bridges, Buford, GA; first cousin, Debbie McDaniel, Buford, GA; mother-in-law, Margie Pruitt, Carnesville, GA; sister-in-law, Lydia Pruitt, Carnesville, GA; brother-in-law, Noah and Diane Pruitt, Flowery Branch, GA; sisters-in-law, Lisa and Matthew Northrup, Batavia, OH, Jennifer and Clarke Area, Braselton, GA; brother-in-law Mack Cameron and Kelly Pruitt, Lawrenceville, GA; sister-in-law, Sabra Clymer, Buford, GA; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other cousins. Mr. Green was born on January 20, 1951 in Marietta, GA. He was a 1969 graduate of Buford High School, Buford, GA. He received his Associates Degree from Dekalb Technical College. He was owner of Greene and Son Auto Parts in Buford, GA. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 26, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Frank Gibson and Bishop Brad Day officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 25 from 2:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 2:30 until time for the service 4:30 p.m.
