John W. Owens

John W. Owens, age 83, of Buford, GA passed away Friday, August 30, 2019.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Owens; parents, George and Henrietta Owens; brother, Raymond Owens; daughter, Cheryl Keller.  Mr. Owens is survived by his children, Tracy and Randolph Clark Gonzalez, Flowery Branch, GA, and Elaine and Alfred English, Buford, GA; sister, Janie Owens Mangham, Griffin, GA; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren; and a host of friends.  He loved exercising and diving.  Mr. Owens attended Old Suwanee Baptist Church.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, with Pastor Doyle Jackson officiating.  Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Buford, GA.   There will be a Wake from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 5^th at the funeral home.
