Jose Luis Gonzalez Ramirez 51, of Gainesville passed away Monday, September 2, 2019.

A Rosary Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday and the Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2019 at St. John Paul II Mission. Father William Canales will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Born on April 9, 1968 in Mexico City, Mexico, he was the son of Bulmaro Gonzalez and Tomasa Ramirez. He was employed with William Sonoma and of the Catholic faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Gonzalez Ramirez is survived by his daughter, Karen Gonzalez of New York; sons, Jose Gonzalez, Jr of Gainesville, Gabriel Gonzalez of Gainesville, Shane Lopez of Atlanta; daughter, Courtney Davis of Atlanta; siblings, Juan Fernando Gonzalez Ramirez of Gainesville, Maria del Rocio Gonzalez Ramirez of Mexico, Maria del Carmen Gonzalez Ramirez of Gainesville, Guadalupe Elizabeth Gonzalez Ramirez of Chicago, Miguel Angel Gonzalez Ramirez and Roberto Carlos Gonzalez Ramirez both of Gainesville.
