Gladys Jones Pruitt

Mrs. Gladys Jones Pruitt, age 99, of Homer, GA died Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Hill Haven Nursing Home.  Mrs. Pruitt was born in Homer to the late Andy and Janie Jordan Jones.  She was a member of Homer Baptist Church and owner of Pruitt’s Superette.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pruitt was preceded in death by her husband, S. Clyde Pruitt; and son, Oliver Clyde Pruitt.

Mrs. Pruitt is survived by her son, Otis Pruitt of Fayetteville; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Wednesday, September 18 at Homer Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Crabbe officiating.  Interment will follow in Banks Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM.
