Julia P. Williams

Mrs. Julia P. Williams, age 97, of Homer, GA died Saturday, September 21, 2019 at her residence.  Mrs. Williams was born in Homer to the late John and Byrd Hope Payne.  She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church and was retired from the City of Atlanta.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar C. Williams; and brothers, William, Fred, Roy and Guy Payne.

Mrs. Williams is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Monday, September 23 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Jerry Payne officiating.  Interment will follow in Arlington Cemetery at 3 PM, Monday.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 6 to 8 PM.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Fund, 855 Payne Road, Homer, GA 30547.
