Joan Dolores Piccarreta

Joan Dolores Piccarreta, age 84, of Toccoa, GA passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019.  She is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, Anthony “Tony” Piccarreta, Toccoa, GA; children, Jeff Piccarreta, Franklin, NC, ToniAnn (Igal) Zaprir, Coral Springs, FL, Tari Adams, Flowery Branch, GA, Tom Piccarreta, Flowery Branch, GA; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn (Dominic) Franzesa, Lynbrook, NY; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mrs. Piccarreta was born July 31, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY.  She was a retired cashier from Publix’s in Oakwood, GA.  Mrs. Piccarreta was of Episcopal faith.  Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., with Dr. Jim Ferguson officiating at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, 5979 New Bethany Road, Buford, GA 30518.
